Problem LFS Converter Solves
Bitbucket Server provides LFS storage that one may use for newly created repositories. LFS works by storing large files separtely from repository, so that repository users downloads only files that arew actually needed. Bitbucket Server provides LFS storage, but it only could be used for newly created repositories. Repositories that already exists and contain huge files have to be explicitly transferred to the LFS.
LFS Converter is the tool that allows one to transfer large files from already existing repository to LFS.

LFS Converter download and installation
To install LFS Converter from within Bitbucket Server go to Administration | Manage Add-Ons and look for LFS Converter.
To transfer files to LFS, go to Repository Settings and choose Transfer large files to LFS.
